[Paintball]

Hello Everyone,

There are a few rules on Monster Madness that we ask for you to follow:

1).NO CRYBABIES OR BAD ATTITUDES :wink:- No whining, begging, or harassing other players(see rule #5). Play nice, or do not play here. We run this server as a FREE service to the UT community.

2).DO NOT INTENTIONALLY KILL TEAM MATES- Although we understand accidents happen, repeated "accidents" may be called into question. This can include shieldgunning players off ledges, telefragging other players on purpose, intentionally suicide use of the super weapon, and others.

3).NO IDLING- If caught idling when the server is full you will be kicked, doing this numerous amounts of times will eventually get you banned.

4).DO NOT DISRESPECT THE ADMINS- admins are your authority figures on Monster Madness. Do not disrespect them. What they say goes. If you are disrespectful to an admin you will be kicked/banned immediately. Admins are in game to monitor the game not to listen to or take disrespect from other players who cant control their tempers. You wouldn't disrespect your parents or boss and not expect any consequences, so don't expect anything different here.

5).NO HARASSING PLAYERS- Just dont use racial slurs towards players and respect each other, remember its only a game.

6).NO IMPERSONATING OTHER PLAYERS OR MIMICKING THEIR NAMES IN CHAT- Do not pretend to be another player on the server. This causes confusion and drama.

7).NO AUTO TAUNTS- Make sure to turn off auto taunts before joining the server. It's very annoying when one of your team mates is trying to heal you and you keep saying "I'm on your team idiot!".

8.)DO NOT VOICE SPAM- Please only use your microphone to speak. DO NOT use your microphone to play music or sounds for everybody. Voice spamming wastes server bandwidth making it laggy.

9).DO NOT CHAT FLOOD- Only ask for something once. Chat flooding is annoying and will get you kicked. If no one responds, try addressing someone directly, but do not press up and enter repeatedly.

10).DO NOT PLAY MUSICAL ZOUNDS AFTER WAVE 15- Playing musical zounds (ie: ppk, rnot, gsong....) after wave 15 causes lag on the server. Please do not play musical zounds after wave 15.

11).DO NOT CHEAT- If you do not get a weapon of power when you spawn do not under any circumstances disconnect then reconnect from the server to change your luck, instead look for a gold kit to apply to your weapons to make them wops or ask other players to jug theirs, or if you bought the gold kit ability, then if you havent suicided more than 3 times that map then you may suicide to get your gold kit back. Disconnecting and reconnecting messes and with rpg and the weapon of power chance system and creates lag on the server.

12).THE ADMINS ARE IN GAME TO PLAY- Whenever possible, use the forums and admin email address for administrative issues. Do not bother any admins with questions that could be asked in the forum or via email unless it is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT and directly impacts everyone on the server, such as a hacker problem.

Aside from these, here are some general guidelines to keep in mind while playing:

Sharing is not a Right: Players are not required to share their weapons or powerups with you. If a player wants to horde their weapons or powerups, that is their choice. It is also the choice of other players to then not share with that player. Keep this in mind before you immediately start attacking non-sharers and attempt to make them die. (Since this is a TEAM game and not a competition I don't understand why you wouldn't want to not share with your team)

Taking is not Juggling: When a player says they will juggle their weapon with you, do not run away with the weapon they tossed you. This is disrespectful considering they offered to share the weapon with you. You will not earn many friends doing this.

Explanation on what is idling, and about breaking the rules

Well for now on break the server rules and I or any of the other admins will give you a warning in game that you are breaking them and if you continue your banned, thats it. This is the best and proficient way to end drama that I or the other admins don't have time for on the server. Admins are not there to contribute to the drama. If we see breaking of the server rules we will kick and ban accordingly. Like joey stated this is a shoot to kill basis, you break the rules and continue you are banned.

Now some of you might be thinking right now, well thats not fair everyone makes mistakes. Yes I agree with that however my friends there is a fine line between BeingRightBack so you can go to the bathroom in between map switch or even in the middle of the game with notice saying u will brb, And idling entire maps without notice or even if you do say brb. Being gone for an entire map (which usually if we win is around 35 minutes) is EXTREMELY rude and ignorant considering there are other players waiting to join the game!

To clear it up also, the term "BRB" means that you will literally Be Right Back. When I see a player say brb it occurs to me oh they are probably using the restroom or getting something to drink and will be back in 5 minutes and god forbid they are constipated maybe 10. BRB does not meen hold on im going to the movies ill be back in 2 hours! So don't abuse the fact that we let BRB go if you are going to BeRightBack then go do what you need to do and BeRightBack within the 5-10 minute leniency. We are very very generous with the 5-10 minutes thing. Most servers will auto kick in 2 minutes top. This is a high traffic server meening that alot of people want to play all the time. So we really should set kick time to 2 minutes but we understand that when you gotta go to the bathroom, you really gotta go.

In Conclusion to all of this, if you are in game and say brb be back in 5-10 minutes and you will be fine. However saying BRB does not meen you are immune to being kicked, this meens that you have 5-10 minutes to do what you need to do and come back.
